Fireweed Health Collective Inc. is a private, Indigenous-owned collective practice and consulting firm offering clinical services, traditional healing, and culturally grounded health system design. Our work is rooted in Indigenous values, relational care, and a deep commitment to health sovereignty for our communities.

While Fireweed Health Collective Inc. operates as a for-profit entity, we work closely with our non-profit partner organization, Ihkapaskwa Collective. Ihkapaskwa Collective is home to several grant-funded and community-based programs including Aunties Within Reach, Roots of Birth, Fireweed Wellness Lodge and more, ensuring culturally safe, inclusive, and accessible supports for families across our region.

Under the Fireweed Health Collective umbrella, you will find:

• Fireweed Midwives – providing midwifery, reproductive, and postpartum care

• Omisimâw Wellness – offering clinical herbalism and plant-based healing

• Additional private practice providers – including mental health practitioners, health providers and traditional practitioners

Together, our providers deliver a spectrum of care that reflects both traditional Indigenous knowledge and clinical best practices. We serve individuals and families across the Regional Municipality of Wood Buffalo and beyond through direct services, mentorship, and client-centered care.

In addition to hands-on care, Fireweed Health Collective Inc. provides consulting and capacity-building services to Nations, organizations, and health systems looking to implement Indigenous-led health models, develop cultural safety training, and support the integration of land-based, relational approaches to care.
